| Czech film posters from the period 1950 to 1990 are all roughly
the same size: 83 x 59 cm (33 in x 23 in). They are printed on non-glossy paper
using the offset technique. Most of our posters come from one large collection
amassed over more than four decades by a cinema director who had been putting
one or two copies aside every time the distribution company sent them with
the film. The posters have been stored in batches softly folded - without a
crease - two ways horizontally. Most of the posters were never displayed so
there are usually no pin pricks or tape/blue tack traces on them. When Czech
Film Posters acquired the collection, we laid all the posters flat and weighed
them down to iron out any waves that formed on them as a result of folding.
The condition of most of our posters is "very good to excellent".

The posters on our website are dated by the year in which
the poster was printed. As many foreign films came to Czechoslovak cinemas
years afer their original release, the year you might associate with a
particular film may be different from the year in which the Czech poster
for it was published. If you search by year, please enter a wider date range
to prevent the search engine from missing the film.

Czech Film Posters (CFP) is not a fully automated web shop. If you decide
to buy a poster from us, simply put the results of your search in the shopping
basket and proceed to check-out. You will be asked to enter your contact details
into a table. Clicking the "continue" button will generate an email with your
contact details that will be sent to CFP. So far no commitment from you.
We will reply to your email within 2 working days with detailed information
on the condition of the poster you selected, cost of postage to the address
given by you and details of available payment methods.

We now accept PayPal, and this is our preferred method of payment. Please add your chosen posters to the cart and complete your detalis as above, details of how to pay by PayPal will be included in our reply.
Alternative methods of payment are major credit cards, bank wire transfer or
cash in a registered letter. Posters will be sent out upon receipt of your
payment (wire transfer, cash) or card transaction authorisation.

Posters will be sent in heavy duty paper tubes, fully insured.

All posters purchased from CFP can be returned within 30 days if you are
not happy with them. A full refund will be given as soon as the poster(s)
are returned to CFP. You will be required to cover the cost of mailing the
poster back and insuring it against damage in transit.
